Designated a UNESCO City of Design since 2006, Montreal is appreciated for its multiple festivals taking place throughout the year, and the authentic beauty of its Old Port. This effervescent metropolis is comprised of a rich network of museums with almost forty of these museums grouped within the Board of Montréal Museums Directors, one of the partners organizing the annual conference and the competition (FIAMP) for the AVICOM Committee in 2012.
