Statement of motivation
I have been working with education programmes for 10 years at Livingstone museum before I was appointed Director of Moto Moto in 2010.
I have since continued to work on several research Projects that have resulted into national museum education projects one of which was adopted for the Zambia CECA conference and Museum Open Day 2014 at Lusaka Museum in Zambia.
This is one of my motivation to work with the CECA Board. However my immediate motivation to be on the CECA board comes after being CECA Africa Regional Representative and co-opted into the CECA Board in the past two years.
This experience makes me want to work with the Board farther to help bring African countries into the CECA committee cicles; a work that I have already started working on with the successful hosting of the CECA Zambia Conference of 2014 that saw the attendance of other African countries in the region. As CECA Board member I want to increase CECA membership in Africa and also participation in CECA programmes such as BEST PRACTICE.
