Resolutions approved by CIDOC 2012 Annual General Meeting

1) Statement of principles of museum documentation

"CIDOC, meeting at its 2012 AGM, supports the finalized Statement of principles of museum documentation. It recommends that the Statement of Principles should be put before the 2013 ICOM General Assembly with a view to its adoption as the official policy of ICOM with respect to Articles 2.20 and 6.1 of the ICOM Code of Ethics for Museums."

 

2) Statement on Linked Data identifiers for museum objects

"CIDOC, meeting at its 2012 AGM, supports the Statement on Linked Data identifiers for museum objects. It recommends that the Statement should be put before the 2013 ICOM General Assembly with a view to its adoption as the official policy of ICOM."
