Launch of International Museum Day in Bahrain

In celebration of international museum day, the capital of Arab culture this year, Manama is hosting Dr Hans-Martin Hinz who will give a public talk at the Bahrain National Museum. May is the month of Museums in Manama and an important funerary exhibition of Tylos artefacts, dating to the 3rd Century BC, was opened on 1st May, from which a children's travelling exhibition was then launched on 13th May. Dr Hinz will visit both and attend the closing of the ICOM-Arab workshop.
